We have planned this for almost one month, and today is the day.
Penang here we come!!
My friends and I were preparing this road trip since a week before their final exam started, as you can see how playful they are. Well, I was extremely excited and looking forward to visit Penang after a long time. All I remember was the food and as we all know that Penang is the heaven of the seafood in Malaysia. I mouth will turn watering when I think of it. Along the journey everyone was introducing the tourism spot from the source we found from internet. But the most annoying thing was my friend Daryl who always played the song – Jay Sean – Down all the way to Penang. It really spoiled my mood and I feel like I rather take a bus or cycle to Penang by myself.
Anyway, in spite of it he is good guy, but he was snoring out loud when he was sleeping in the car. The reason why we didn’t tell him is because we have recorded down the sound and therefore we can threaten him. LOL.
Finally, we have reached Penang and it was about 10o’clock. The worse thing was we haven’t had the chance to eat our dinner along the journey. This is because we will go to meet my friend’s uncle to have dinner with him in his own restaurant. OMG. Big prawn, big lobster, big crab and seafood that you can see is bigger than usual compare to those in KL. Daryl and Noppa ordered a lot of seafood although they know they can’t finish it. I guess us very hungry because we can finish the whole plates of seafood by 30 minutes. After the dinner, we went to the beach just beside the restaurant. We bought lots of firework to celebrate the first day in Penang.
The air in Penang was too fresh, and we try to pollute it by playing firework at there. It was awesome and finally we get chased by a police officer. Then, we went back to Tune hotel. It was a cheap ass and noisy hotel. The reason why I say it was noisy is because I can hear people fighting and banging the wall in the next room. Isn’t Noppa and Voni were staying at the next room? I can’t sleep well at that night. The following day we woke up in the early morning to have a great breakfast in Bali Hai restaurant. There got many dim sum and Bak Pao. As you can see the amount of food Daryl ate in the morning and we can know how he increases his body size easily.
According to our schedule we should go to snake temple. In the snake temple, the person that owns this temple, who explained to us that there got many species of cobra in this temple. We took a lot of pictures with the snakes except the coward, Noppa. XP
Finally I have finished my last post, I would upload the rest information of the journey after I complete my midterm exam. To be continue……
